Pippi's Paradise
My sweet dog Pippi is the inspiration for this color.
I asked the Members of my Fiberclub to inspire me for the new color of this month. And they wanted the impossible: Peacock and Pastels. warm and also cold colors. They wanted deep and also pastelly colors.
I dyed this braid with a Pastelly Peacock in mind. Then i saw this photo of my sweet Pip. Pip is a reactive fearful yet brave dog, who has experienced a lot in het short life. She is so gentle and playful with me. But also protective of me. I love her so much.
In this photo she is in her happy place, in my bed. In my bed is a duvet with a Peacock pattern cover. Our favorite.
Our bed is Pippi's Paradise. In the photo i woke up next to her as she spend the whole night in my bed, keeping an eye on me.
The other photo is with her mom, Lucy. They love eachother so much. Sweet cuddle fur babies. Cutiepies.
I named this braid Pippi's Paradise. But its mine as well. I love my bed!
Also: loads of orange in this braid! The color of Pip.

Dyed in our Solar Oven, without added heat
It depends on the weather how saturated and bright the colors are. On sunny days in summer is the best.
In winter we dye in the oven (solar electricity powered) and those are a bit different. When you order this color, we'll always try to solar dye it. Or take one out of our supply of last summer.
